March Favourite and April Look-Forwards

Hey everyone, so I thought I'd start April...yes we are in April already...with a quick look back at March and a look forward as to what is coming up for me in March. So let's start with March...

Favourite Play:
4.48 Psychosis: Tickets / Programme and
Leaflet / The Crucible
This would definitely have to be seeing 4.48 Psychosis at the Sheffield Crucible. 4.48 is one of my favourite plays ever and I have wanted to see it live in action for a very long time so this definitely have to be my favourite play of March.

Favourite Musical
This would have to be Miss Saigon as it completely blew me away as a show...the story, the music, the feel, just wow!

Favorite CD
As boring as it sounds I'm going to have to say Miss Saigon again as this show complete below my March away and the CD is just phenomenal. The fusion of music styles is perfect and it has definitely become one of my favourite CD's ever.

Favourite Blog Post
I think this would have to be my post called Getting Around in the World of Theatre. This was such a fun blog to write and from the amount of people who viewed it I liked to think you guys liked it too.

The Theatre Cafe
Favourite Lifestyle Factor
Well it wouldn't me if i didn't cheat slightly somewhere so I'm going to have to put two things down for this category. Firstly, the Divergent series is a-maze-ing and the fact Insurgent came out in March just rocked my world. Secondly, I have been completely in love with Natasha Corrett and Vicki Edgson's cook book, Honestly Healthy. For anyone who's wanting to eat delicious healthy food then this book is for you; it's seriously made me fall in love with cooking :)

Favourite Non-Theatrical Experience
Well, this has to be that I finished March with a spontaneous trip to London, and I literally mean spontaneous as at 3pm I didn't know that I would actually be sat on a train to London an hour and a half later. And, hey people, going up in the London Eye at night is spectacular; London really is a beautiful city...sigh.

So I think it's clear to see I had a pretty amazing March so what does April have in store...

Well I'm planning on going down to the Olivier Awards next week so keep your eye's pealed for my post on that. I am, also, blessed with the fact that I get to spend a whole day watching the gorgeous mr Oliver Tompsett nearer to the end of the month so you'll have to wait and see what that's all about.  And then on a none theatrical front I am currently working with the BBC on a project called Generation 2015 that involves a lot of work around the election. So far I have done a few bits with  them, including being part of a Gogglebox type feature about the politicians debate that was broadcast on BBC Breakfast on the morning of 3rd April (to see this clip, click here). I think it's clear to say that April is looking pretty amazing.
